NU SKER DET - De første spadestik er taget, asfal NU SKER DET - De første spadestik er taget, asfalten er brudt op og opmålingerne er lavet. Klimahaven slår sine første spæde rødder i mulden under Grønjordskollegiets forhenværende parkeringsplads. Det seneste år har kollegiets centrale plæne været hjem til ca. 110 træer og buske i bigbags, som med støtte fra Københavns Kommunes Biodiversitetspulje har ageret midlertidig have i projektet “vokser mens vi venter”. Nu er ventetiden endelig forbi, og gravearbejdet, som skal danne rammerne for den spirende have, er begyndt. Over de næste tre måneder vil haven vokse frem af landskabet, og hvor der før var parkeringspladser og asfalt, bliver der plads til blomster og græsser, træer og buske – og ikke mindst de mange beboere på kollegiet. Projektet er iværksat af det ambitiøse beboerråd samt FA09. Haven er støttet af Nordea-fonden og vil blive prydet med en variation af inventar til socialt ophold, støttet af Villum Fonden. FJP a/s står for anlægget og de er i fuld gang!
How’s it going Down Under? 🌱 “My Governmen How’s it going Down Under? 🌱 “My Government is building Australia’s future, today announcing we will deliver $5 million to create the Nowra Riverfront Precinct” // Prime Minister Anthony Albanese Since 2022 arki_lab has been a part of the Nowra Riverfront Precinct project as we in 2023 provided the Shoalhaven City Council with the Nowra riverfront Activation Plan. We often check in on the progress on many of our projects out of curiosity and are very excited for the announcement from The Albanese Government here in January! We look forward to the continued progress of the project and are happy to hear that the possibilities with the new funding include conducting further community consultation. Great work everyone! Many Danish projects in the last couple of months have been keeping Rasmus Frisk from his frequent travels Down Under, but from start of March he will be back on track, and will be in and around Sydney this time for 10 days, and even though his calendar seems to fill out quickly, then he is always open for fitting more in. --- Stort nyt for de små stemmer! --- Vi er glad --- Stort nyt for de små stemmer! --- Vi er glade og stolte over at Statens Kunstfond vil støtte vores arbejde for at sikre børn og unge en stemme i Danmarks by- og arealudvikling. Både projektstøtte og rejselegat er det blevet til, og vi glæder os så meget til at komme i gang! Vi er nemlig i opstartsfasen af et nyt projekt, der skal løfte arbejdet med inddragelse af børn og unge på landsplan. Sammen med en række dygtige og spændende samarbejdspartnere - herunder @arkitektforeningen og @byplanlab - tager vi nu de første skridt på en lang tur mod en national indsats. Det starter med en studietur til Bergen i foråret og et pilotprojekt i blandt andre Ringsted Kommune i samarbejde med @kumult_ efter sommer. ✨ Thank you all for 2024! ✨ As we wrap up the ✨ Thank you all for 2024! ✨ As we wrap up the year and celebrate the holidays, everyone at the arki_lab office is taking time to enjoy the season with loved ones. Last week's Christmas party was a wonderful opportunity to share good wishes for the festive season and the year ahead. 2024 has been a year filled with exciting and meaningful projects. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with our network of collaborators and new clients, and the impact we’ve been able to make together. As the year draws to a close, we’ve been reflecting on the "quiet voices" that have been part of our journey. These are the voices that often go unheard in the process of designing and shaping our shared environment. Sometimes, they remain silent because they are not asked, or because the way we engage with them does not create a meaningful dialogue. We aim to change that by fostering spaces where all voices are welcomed and heard. But in 2024, we've also focused on including “quiet voices” beyond the human realm. This year, we’ve been working to better integrate the perspectives of non-human actors into our planning and design processes, acknowledging that they too play a crucial role in shaping the world around us. Here's to the year that brought these voices further into our work! We look forward to the new opportunities and challenges that 2025 will bring, and we wish you all a joyful holiday season. See you in the new year!
